Crown Create Studio was born from the vision of founder members, Therene Nel and Melanie Labuschagne, who aim to use creativity to unlock dreams, truths, and identity in women and young girls.

Isaiah 61: 1 – 3

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour.

CCS uses the vibrant art of children’s theatre to reach the hearts of young girls, sowing in them seeds of God’s unconditional love and His unique purpose for their lives.
 

Lily & Luna is the opening act of Crown Create Studio’s ministry for girls aged 3 – 9 years. Lily & Luna are twin princesses who live in the Kingdom of Light and work out their identity in Christ through the wisdom and guidance of an enchanted Mirror. The Mirror, of course, being a representation of the Holy Spirit speaking Biblical truth into their lives.

The Lily & Luna brand includes various musical theatre productions, their debut album and a full length DVD of their launch show.

Our teens are deeply challenged every day and an investment in their sense of self is vital for their mental and emotional stability and growth.
 
Through our Teen Tiara Identity Workshops, we dive into the Word of God to find the truth of His original intent when He created us. We connect, we learn, we do, we dream, we speak life and we encourage each other in love.

At CCS we believe in the expression of your authentic self through the power of performance art. With comedy and the magic of musical theatre we encourage women to walk boldly and confidently in faith, declaring truth over their identity through the promises of God’s Word.

The “tween” years can often be a daunting and uncertain time for young girls as they transition into teenhood. We take hands with these precious girls to guide them through the process, helping them find the sparkle in their tiara as they learn about personal care, friendships, and their true identity in Christ.

Through teaching, craft and ministry, we arm them to fight off any attack on their values and sense of self, helping them find the warrior princess within them.

Through the powerful impact of performance art, music, fashion and even visual arts, we will inspire them to dream for their future, speak God’s truth into their lives and unlock a fresh revelation in their hearts of their identity in their Heavenly Father, the ultimate Creator.

Therene Nel

As a gifted musician, performer, and educator, Therene has a passion for mentoring young women in the Kingdom, helping them find their worth and way in Him. She is a loving wife and absolutely dotes on her four daughters. She’s a soulful singer and loves to travel; chasing the sunshine and leaving her sparkle wherever she goes.

Melanie Labuschagne

As Kingdom performer and administrator, Melanie has always had a passion for performance art and its power to change lives through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. For the last 7 years, she has been involved in various faith-based productions and has also worked in the area of early childhood and social development. She is a devoted wife, a loving mother of two, a dreamer, an adventurer, and an ambitious entrepreneur.
